<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for relieving alcoholic drunkenness that is safe to the human body and highly effective, and food and drink containing the same. <；P>；SOLUTION: An imidazole dipeptide compound and/or a salt thereof is used as an effective ingredient for relieving alcoholic drunkenness. Preferably, the imidazole dipeptide compound and/or the salt thereof in the composition for relieving alcoholic drunkenness is at least one selected from the group consisting of anserine, carnosine, balenine, and salts thereof.
