The invention also relates to desynchronosis and jet lag, and tothe prevention ortreatment of jet lag and/or the diseases, conditions and/or symptomsassociated therewith.The present invention further relates to modulators of glucocorticoid leveland/or activity andto compositions for and methods of preventing or treating symptoms and/ordiseasesassociated with jet lag. More particularly, the present invention relates to amodulator ofglucocorticoid biosynthesis and/or a modulator of glucocorticoid degradationand/or amodulator of glucocorticoid receptor activation for use in preventing ortreating symptomsand/or diseases associated with jet lag or as a lead compound for developing adrug forpreventing or treating symptoms and/or diseases associated with jet lag,whereinadministration of the modulator(s) to a subject results in a directionalchange of the time pointof maximum amounts of glucocorticoids in the subject as compared to the timepoint ofmaximum amounts of glucocorticoids in a subject not treated with themodulator(s).
