The invention relates to a fumigant containing (A) a polyol and (B) an active ingredient, a fogging space treatment device wherein said fumigant and a heating part that generates heat of 150-450°C are disposed with a heat-transferring part therebetween, and a space treatment method wherein said fumigant is heated at 150-450°C. The invention provides a fumigant that is easily handled, has low polluting properties, has high efficacy due to the active ingredient and with which the user can get a sense of the effectiveness, and a fogging space treatment device and a space treatment method that use said fumigant.본 발명은, (A) 폴리올과, (B) 유효 성분을 함유하는 훈연형 휘산제, 상기 훈연형 휘산제와, 150 내지 450℃의 열을 발생하는 발열부가, 전열부를 통하여 배치된 훈연형 공간 처리 장치, 및 상기 훈연형 휘산제를 150 내지 450℃로 가열하는 공간 처리 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 취급이 간편하고, 저오염성이고, 유효 성분에 의한 효과가 높고, 또한, 사용자가 실효감을 얻을 수 있는 훈연형 휘산제, 상기 훈연형 휘산제를 사용한 훈연형 공간 처리 장치 및 공간 처리 방법을 제공할 수 있다.
