PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tomographic image generation method that reduces artifacts in the vicinity of a metal and the like, even when a subject includes a high-density substance such as the metal, in tomosynthesis.SOLUTION: An area of projection data on a high-density substance such as a metal is extracted by extraction separation in step S1, and the area (an area of the metal and the like) is interpolated by area interpolation in step S2.
