PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for discriminating the front/rear of laver that can discriminate the front/rear of laver.SOLUTION: The apparatus 20 for discriminating the front/rear of laver is disposed in proximity to a conveying means 30 conveying the laver 80 sheet by sheet.
