PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microneedle array imaging device and method capable of accurately inspecting a microneedle array based on an acquired image, and a microneedle array inspection device and method.SOLUTION: A parallel light is irradiated on a surface opposite to the surface where microneedles 2 are disposed as an illumination light, and a microneedle array 1 is imaged from the side of the surface where the microneedles 2 are disposed. In this case, the illumination light is irradiated on condition that an incidence angle α of the light to bottom surfaces 2a of the microneedles 2 is 90-θ degrees or more, and an incidence angle β of the light to side surfaces 2b of the microneedles 2 is less than a critical angle γ. Thereby, it is possible to create a state that light hardly comes out from tip parts of the microneedles 2. In consequence, it is possible to take an image in which only the tip parts of the microneedles 2 are dark, and the other parts, that is, bottom parts and a sheet part 3 of the microneedles 2 are bright.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】得られた画像に基づいてマイクロニードルアレイを高精度に検査できるマイクロニードルアレイ撮像装置及び方法、並びに、マイクロニードルアレイ検査装置及び方法を提供する。【解決手段】マイクロニードル2が配置された面と反対側の面に平行光を照明光として照射し、マイクロニードル2が配置された面の側からマイクロニードルアレイ1を撮像する。この際、マイクロニードル2の底面2aへの光の入射角αが、90-θ度以上、かつ、マイクロニードル2の側面2bへの光の入射角βが、臨界角γ未満となる条件で照明光を照射する。これにより、マイクロニードル2の先端部分からは、ほとんど光が出ない状態を生成できる。これにより、マイクロニードル2の先端部分のみが暗く、他の部分、すなわち、マイクロニードル2の根元の部分及びシート3の部分は明るい画像を撮像できる。【選択図】図4
