SOLUTION: The planting holder of planting machine of a bulb of garlic and etc., has a planting machine main body equipped with a revolving movement mechanism for intermittently revolving and moving a plurality of holder units composed of a planting holder and a pressing body around a frame and a press mechanism for pressing the holder units in the direction of the ground and traveling wheels and a traveling handle. A bulb of garlic and etc., is inserted into the planting holder and retained in a state in which the planting holder is faced upward and stopped. A plurality of bulbs of garlic and etc., retained by a plurality of the holders in a state in which the directions of the plant holders are faced to the ground are planted by the press mechanism in fixed depth under the ground while maintaining the vertical and horizontal directions of bulbs of garlic and etc.
