PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower which includes a lawn-mowing mechanism 13, a lawn-collecting box 18 for receiving lawn mowed with a lawn-mowing mechanism, and a lift mechanism 19 for lifting the lawn-collecting box 18 at high places, further includes a rear lid plate 21 to close the opening of the rear side of the lawn-collecting box 18 in a freely openable manner, highly stably supports the lawn-collecting box 18, when the lawn-collecting box 18 is lifted at a high place to discharge mowed lawn received in the lawn-collecting box 18 in a state lifting the lawn-collecting box 18 at the high place, is small, and is light-weight.
SOLUTION: This lawn mower is constituted to have the bottom portion of the lawn-collecting box 18 open, openably close the opened bottom portion with a bottom lid plate 20, and discharge the lawn mowed from the lawn-collecting box 18 by the opening movements of the bottom lid plate 20 and the rear lid plate 21.
