PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower with good workability in the lawn mower having a machine body with a lawn mowing means and a grass collecting box housing mown lawn.SOLUTION: The lawn mower 10 has the machine body part 11 with the lawn mowing means 13, 15, 17, a handle part 31 freely turnably arranged to the machine body part 11, and the grass collecting box 41 housing the lawn mown by the machine body part 11. The machine body part 11 has a suction opening 20 sucking the lawn, a discharge opening 24 discharging the sucked lawn from the machine body part 11, a suction mechanism 22 generating suction wind for guiding the lawn from the suction opening 20 to the discharge opening 24, a middle passage member 26 communicating the discharge opening 24 and a lawn collecting opening 42 formed in the lawn collecting box 41 and forming at least a part of the lawn collecting passages 23, 25 from the discharge opening 24 to the lawn collecting opening 42. The lawn collecting box 41 can be freely detached and attached to the middle passage member 26, the middle passage member 26 can be freely detached and attached to the handle part 31 and can freely turn relative to the machine body part 11.
