The invention aims at providing a technique capable of reducing size of a grass cutter in the fore-and-aft direction. The grass cutter (10) comprises a body (12) with a blade (26), a grass collector (16), a grass collecting path (14) and a fan (24). The grass collecting path (14) is communicated with the top or middle part of the grass collector (16) through the rear part of the grass collector (16) from the rear part of the blade (26). The fan (24) rotates along with rotation of a motor (22) and the grass cut by the blade (26) is collected into the grass collector (16) through the grass collecting path (14).
