PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress for a gatch bed that can prevent deviation of a mattress in the longitudinal direction of a gatch bed at the time of elevation of a back bottom of the bed, and that can also prevent deviation of a bed user who lies on the mattress.SOLUTION: A mattress body 1 has cushioning properties and supports the weight of a bed user. The mattress body is covered with a cover 40. In the mattress body 1, the portion corresponding to the thighs of the bed user is made of urethane material harder than the portion corresponding to the lumbar and the back of the bed user.
