PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the separation accuracy by changing the blowoff direction of the whole separation wind blown off from a pressurized air winnower according to the amount of materials which are to be treated on a shaking separator, and include the materials which are to be treated and discharged from a tailings treating chamber to a separation chamber.SOLUTION: A separation controller of a thresher includes: a pair of upper and lower wind direction guide plates 8 and 9 provided for regulating the blowoff direction of the separation wind on the blowoff side of the separation wind of the pressurized air winnower 5 to form a separation wind guide passage 10 between the pair of upper and lower wind direction guide plates 8 and 9 and a sensor 11 installed for detecting the amount of the materials which are to be treated on the shaking separator 4 including the materials which are to be treated and discharged from the tailings treating chamber 2 to the separation chamber 3.
