The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, containing homoegonol as an active ingredient. Specifically, the homoegnaol exhibited a reduction effect of neutrophils serving as a mediation factor in the progression of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease animal model induced with a tobacco extract, and significantly reduced the number of inflammatory cells in the lung tissue by suppressing the production of MCP-2, which promotes the migration of inflammatory cells, and TNF-α, which is the inflammatory cytokine. Therefore, the homoegonol significantly suppresses the inflammatory response in the lung tissue through the inhibition of an inflammatory mediator, and thus can be favorably used as an active ingredient of the pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique pour la prévention et le traitement d'une maladie pulmonaire obstructive chronique, contenant de l'homoégonol en tant que principe actif. Plus précisément, l'homoégonol présente un effet de réduction des neutrophiles servant de facteur de médiation dans la progression de la maladie pulmonaire obstructive chronique chez un modèle animal de maladie pulmonaire obstructive chronique induite avec un extrait de tabac, et réduit de manière significative le nombre de cellules inflammatoires dans le tissu pulmonaire, par suppression de la production de MCP-2, ce qui favorise la migration des cellules inflammatoires, et de TNF-α, qui est la cytokine inflammatoire.
