PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily clean and disinfect after use, hygienic, easy work after start-up and transportation completion, to suppress quality deterioration due to unintended thawing, and to suppress general-purpose sample container such as vial. Provided are a frozen transport container and a storage container for the frozen transport container. SOLUTION: A frozen transport container 1 according to the present invention comprises a heat-insulated container 3 and a frozen transport container storage container 7 that houses a sample container 5 to be transported and is removably stored in the heat-insulated container 3. The storage container 7 for a frozen transport container is provided with a case portion 13 for accommodating the sample container 5, a support member 15 for supporting the case portion 13 in a suspended state in the heat insulating container 3, and the sample container 5. It is characterized in that it is provided with a liquid nitrogen absorbing material 17 which is disposed in the case portion 13 and can absorb liquid nitrogen in a state where the storage space S is formed.
