PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic sensor to be used by being attached to the skin of a subject.SOLUTION: A photoacoustic sensor 10 has a sheet-like sensor body including a light emitting device 20 for generating light with which a portion to be examined of a subject is irradiated and a receiver 30 for receiving acoustic waves generated at the portion to be examined through the irradiation with the light. The light emitting device 20 is constituted with one or more light emitters which emit light such as infrared light or near infrared light. A receiver 30 is constituted with one or more reception elements which receive acoustic waves such as ultrasonic waves.
