To provide a PET/MRI integrated type device capable of obtaining a composite image of high quality and by compact constitution.
SOLUTION: This PET/MRI integrated type device 10 includes an MRI unit 12 and a PET unit 14. The MRI unit 12 includes a pair of planar yokes 22a, 22b arranged opposedly each other via a gap G, a pair of permanent magnets 24a, 24b provided ON the pair of planar yokes 22a, 22b opposedly each other, and a support YOKE 26 for magnetically coupling the planar yokes 22a and 22b. The PET unit 14 includes a radiation detection part 36 having a scintillator 44, a light guide part 38 having a light guide 48, and a photodetection part 40 having a PSPMT 50. A magnetic shielding member 32 is inserted into a through hole 30 not to contact with the support YOKE 26. The PSPMT 50 is provided in the magnetic shielding member 32 within the through hole 30.
