The locking member comprises one or more resilient ribs extending inwardly within the through hole. The one or more resilient ribs are configured to bind against the biopsy cannula upon relative rotation between the biopsy cannula and the locking member to a locking position. The locking member and guiding portion are configured to restrict the depth of insertion of the biopsy cannula through the guiding portion when the one or more resilient ribs of the locking members are bound against the biopsy cannula in the locking position.
