PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation device capable of analyzing the components of scattered light.
SOLUTION: This observation device includes: a light source (1) generating light an illumination section (3) guiding the light from the light source and illuminating an object (50) an objective optical system (8) guiding the return light from the object a lens array (2) including a plurality of lens elements (2c) and dividing a light flux emitted from the objective optical system and a light detecting section (10) disposed at an outgoing end face (2d) of the lens array or a position (42) conjugated therewith and detecting the divided light flux from the lens array. An incidence plane (2f) of the lens array is disposed at an exit pupil (8a) of the objective optical system.
