PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pearly luster detergent composition which has high detergency and sufficient pearly luster despite a manufacturing process having a simple blending which does not require complicated control of a crystallization operation or use of a special cooling system.SOLUTION: There are provided a pearly luster detergent composition containing fatty acid glycol ester and water, in which the composition contains ether-carboxylic acid type surfactant in an unneutralized state and a neutralized-salt state, and a method of manufacturing the composition.
