A process of producing herbal candy from Lagundi (Vitex negundo) leaves comprising the steps of: collecting lagundi leaves sorting collected leaves washing the sorted leaves under running tap water draining washed leaves in a strainer drying drained leaves at room temperature chopping air-dried leaves into fine pieces pounding the sliced leaves squeezing the minced leaves to produce extract filtering the extract to ensure homogenous extract mixing 1 cup of lagundi extract, pcnt cup of corn syrup and 1/2 cup of white sugar cooking the mixture over low heat cooling the cooked mixture for at least 15 minutes packing the candies with wax paper and labelling the packaged candies.
