PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support grip capable of enabling appropriate palming and allowing a user to operate a tackle as desired on a fishing rod with a bait reel attached.SOLUTION: A support grip 10 is attached to a reel seat 11 with a grip 31. The grip 31 is pushed into a reel seat body 12. The support grip 10 comprises: a fitting ring to be fixed to the reel seat body 12； and a support block. The fitting ring has an annular shape and is fitted onto the reel seat body 12, and is fastened by the grip 31. The support block is a three-dimensional component formed in a roof shape. The support block comprises a bottom surface, a left side surface 40, a right side surface, a front surface and a rear surface 43 continuous with the bottom surface.
