PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nausea/vomiting suppression agent capable of suppressing nausea and vomiting, a gene expression inhibitor, a food, a quasi-drug, and a cosmetic product.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, an agent for suppressing nausea and vomiting comprises glyceroglycolipid as an active ingredient in an amount that produces efficacy. The glyceroglycolipid is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of monogalactosyl diacylglycerol (MGDG), digalactosyl diacylglycerol (DGDG), and sulfoquinovosyl diacylglycerol (SQDG).
