PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball-molding apparatus enabling various kinds of rice ball-receiving means such as a rotary receiving disk and a linear transportation conveyor to be installed therein.SOLUTION: The rice ball-molding apparatus is obtained by installing a boiled rice-feeding part above a molding hole 16a of an intermittently rotating molding disk 16, and further installing a lifting and lowering boiled rice-pushing tool 26 and a lifting and lowering boiled rice-dropping tool 27 in the downstream side in the rotating direction, and is constituted so that the boiled rice may be fed from the boiled rice-feeding part into the molding hole 16a while rotating the disk, the rice ball may be molded in the molding hole by the lifting and lowering boiled rice-pushing tool 26, and the rice ball in the molding hole may be dropped downward from a rice ball-dropping and feeding port 65 by the lifting and lowering boiled rice-dropping tool 27. A driving teeth part 16c is installed in the outer periphery of the intermittently rotating molding disk 16, and a driving gear 24 for intermittently driving the intermittently rotating molding disk by meshing with the driving teeth part, and a driving motor M5 are installed in the side position of the intermittently rotating molding disk 16.
