PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for generating dry-ice snow, with which the heap of the dry-ice snow in a snow horn can be prevented and the dispersion shape of the dry-ice snow falling from the snow horn can be changed.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for generating the dry-ice snow is equipped with an orifice nozzle (4) for ejecting liquefied carbon dioxide gas and the snow horn (1) constituted of a tubular body whose lower end is opened. In the apparatus, the orifice nozzle (4) is arranged so as to face to an upper space of the snow horn (1), and a mist generating tube (5) having a diameter smaller than that of the snow horn (1) is arranged at the downstream side of the orifice nozzle (4) so as to protrude. The mist generating tube (5) is configured in such a manner that the lower end opening thereof is inserted into the inside of the snow horn (1) and the distance between the orifice nozzle (4) and the lower end thereof can be changed.
