PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire having excellent operability (especially, blood vessel selectivity).SOLUTION: A guide wire 1 has a wire body 2 having a straight line part 28 extending in a straight line shape and a curved part 27 positioned on the distal end side of the straight line part 28 and curved in a prescribed direction. The radius of curvature of the curved part 27 gradually decreases toward the distal end side. All areas of the curved part 28 are curved in the prescribed direction.
