PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving visibility out of packaging in a granular material having a stamp on a surface.SOLUTION: There is provided a printing method for carrying out a printing process on the surface of a granular material 9 having recesses 81, 82 thereon. The method comprises a process of detecting the positions of the recesses 81, 82 and a process of printing the line along the edges of the recesses 81, 82 in the outside thereof. Thereby, the line along the recesses 81, 82 is printed in the outside thereof on the surface (undented portion) of the granular material 9. Since a printing position is a surface, that position is easy to be visually recognized through packaging even if the granular material 9 is packed in a translucent package and that is, the visibility from the outside of package is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】表面に刻印を有する粒状物について、包装外からの視認性を向上できる技術を提供する。【解決手段】この印刷方法は、表面に凹部８１，８２を有する粒状物９の表面に印刷処理を行うための印刷方法であって、凹部８１，８２の位置を検出する工程と、凹部８１，８２の外側において凹部８１，８２の縁部に沿う線を印刷する工程とを有する。これにより、粒状物９の表面（凹んでいない部分）に、凹部８１，８２の外側において凹部８１，８２に沿う線が印刷される。印刷位置が表面であるため、粒状物９が半透明な包装に包まれている場合であっても、印刷箇所を包装を介して視認しやすい。すなわち、包装外からの視認性を向上できる。【選択図】図８
