The utility model is a forage-based pellet feed for growing and lactating goats formulated based on the nutritional requirements of the animals. The pellets' main ingredients are Leucaena leucocephala or lpil-ipif leaf meal and Pennisetum purpureum or Napier leaf meal, rice bran, copra meal, molasses, dicalcium phosphate and salt. The pellets for growing goats has 15 pcnt Napier leaf meal. 40 pcnt lpil-ipil leaf meal and 45 pcnt of the other ingredients, whereas the pellets for lactating goats has 20 pcnt Napier leaf meal, 35 pcnt lpil-ipil leaf meal and 45 pcnt of other ingredients. The pellets do not contain any binding material. The pellets have a diameter of 8 mm and length of 20-25 rnm. They can be stored for 6 months at room temperature without significant changes on pellets' quality. When used as feeds, they result in better feed intake, higher digestibility.
