La dureté des chewing-gums ainsi obtenus est augmentée, une telle augmentation étant souhaitable, par exemple pour éviter la déformation de centres à dragéifier dans les turbines de dragéification ou pour améliorer les cadences d'emballage de sticks. L'agent anti-mottant est mélangé au préalable avec le xylitol pulvérulent. La composition pulvérulente de xylitol et d'agent anti-mottant fait aussi partie de l'invention.
