A leg lift device is provided for attachment to a shoe. The leg lift device includesa sole, an optional lift insert and a shoe receiver attached to the sole. The shoereceiver includes a first section to engage a toe of a shoe and a second sectionto engage a heel of a shoe. The device also includes an attachment strap. A selectedmethod is also provided.
