A leg lift device is provided for attachment to a shoe. The leg liftdevice includes a sole, an optional lift insert and a shoe receiver attachedto thesole. The shoe receiver includes a first section to engage a toe of a shoe andasecond section to engage a heel of a shoe. The device also includes anattachmentstrap. A selected method is also provided.
