PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a colorant composition that secures the fixing effect of colorant for a long period of time while securing an excellent moisture retaining effect of hair and feel improving effect of hair.SOLUTION: The colorant composition comprises a colorant, a cationized hyaluronic acid having a structure in which the carboxy group of glucuronic acid constituting hyaluronic acid is modified with a quaternary ammonium group-containing modification group or its analog.
