The present invention discloses a process for synthesis of chiral 2,4-disubstituted- tetrahydropyran-4-ol and its derivatives having a general formal (I) comprising of asymmetric reaction of an aliphatic aldehyde and a homoallylic alcohol in the presence of a chiral organocatalyst, and a fragrance and cosmetic composition containing chirally enriched molecules of the said general formula (I) prepared by the aforesaid process.La présente invention concerne un procédé de synthèse de tétrahydropyran-4-ol 2,4-disubstitué chiral et de ses dérivés de formule générale (I), ledit procédé comprenant la réaction asymétrique d'un aldéhyde aliphatique et d'un alcool homoallylique en présence d'un organocatalyseur chiral ； et un parfum et une composition cosmétique contenant lesdites molécules à enrichissement chiral de formule générale (I) préparées par le procédé mentionné ci-dessus.
