PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin material for a chair that facilitates and secures covering work.SOLUTION: Skin materials 36, 53 of a chair C include first covering fabrics 361a, 535, and second covering fabrics 361b, 536, respectively. Ears 363, 537 to be protrusions for sewing are provided on backsides of the first covering fabrics 361a, 535 and the second covering fabrics 361b, 536 such that the ears run across therebetween, respectively. This allows an assembling worker to quickly and securely install the skin materials 36, 53 while pulling the ears 363, 537 properly.
