PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine packing apparatus capable of carrying out packing and inspection of medicines in the same housing and minimizing the labor required for inspection. A medicine packing device (10) has a medicine packing unit (20) and a medicine inspection unit (100) housed in the same housing (12). The medicine packaging device 10 has a transport path switching mechanism 200. In the process of transporting the sachets from the medicine packaging unit 20 to the transfer unit, the transport path switching mechanism 200 reverses the front and back of the sachets, and determines the transport direction of the sachets by the direction in the medicine packaging unit 20. The switching is made in a direction intersecting with the discharging direction of the packet. The medicine packing apparatus 10 can carry out the packing of the medicine in the housing 12 and the inspection of the medicine contained in the packing bag.
