The present invention relates to an uprooting device (1) for uprooting crops, in particular bushes and plants. The uprooting device comprises a mobile frame, uprooting means, such as a knife (3), at the front of the frame for detaching the crops from a substrate, a transport track (15) on the frame for carrying upward the detached crops, and a conveyor (25) above the transport track for holding the crops against the transport track over at least a part thereof in an upward movement over the transport track.
