Disclosed is the use of a composition comprising as an active ingredient, a combination of glycerol, Vaseline and liquid paraffin as an oil-in-water or water-in-oil emulsion for preparing a drug to prevent atopic dermatitis suitable for primary prevention. The composition may also comprise stearic acid, glycerol monostearate, polydimethylcyclosiloxane, dimethicone, polyethylene glycol 600, trolamine, propyl parahydroxybenzoate or distilled water.
