PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil treatment composition capable of making soil moisture percentage good by small water amount spray and exhibiting a good preventive effect of generation of water-repellent soil/improvement effect of the water-repellent soil.SOLUTION: There is provided a soil treatment composition containing the following (a) component used for prevention of generation of water-repellent soil and/or improvement of the water-repellent soil. (a) one or more kind selected from polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene glycol and polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene glycol having a number average molecular weight of 1500 to 3000 and a ratio occupied by polyethylene oxide in a molecule of over 10 mass%.
