PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect catcher ensuring lured insects to be caught despite lowering electric shock noise emitted when electric dischargers give insects electric shock.SOLUTION: The insect catcher 1 comprises insect-luring light sources 2, electric dischargers 3a and 3b functioning to give electric shock to insects lured by light emitted from the light sources 2, and reflecting mirror units (a pair of reflecting mirrors) 4a and 4b that reflect the light from the respective light sources 2. In this insect catcher 1, the reflecting unit 4a is composed of such reflecting mirrors 41 and 42 as to be disposed against each other so that the space therebetween is relatively gradually reduced as they come closer to the light source 2 while the reflecting unit 4b is composed of such reflecting mirrors 43 and 44 as to be disposed similarly to the case as mentioned above. The electric dischargers 3a and 3b are provided on the side where the light source 2 for the reflecting mirrors 41 and 42 is disposed and on the side where the light source 2 for the reflecting mirrors 43 and 44 is disposed, respectively.
