The invention relates to a semi-solid pharmaceutical composition having anti-inflammatory effect. According to the invention, the composition comprises 20 mg of tenoxicam, either dissolved or dispersed into hydrophilic systems consisting of polyethylene glycol mixtures having molecular masses ranging between 200 and 10000, at a liquid : solid polyethylene glycol ratio of 1:5...5:1, in the presence of lipophilic compounds having multiple functions, such as plasticizer, emulsifier and absorption promoter, in an amount of 0.01...1%.Invenţia se referă la o compoziţie farmaceutică semisolidă, cu acţiune antiinflamatoare. Compoziţia conform invenţiei conţine 20 mg tenoxicam, dizolvat sau dispersat în sisteme hidrofile, constituite din amestecuri de polietilenglicol cu mase moleculare cuprinse între 200 şi 10000, la un raport polietilenglicol lichid:solid între 1:5 şi 5:1, în prezenţă de compuşi lipofili, cu rol multiplu de plastifiant, emulgator şi promotor al proceselor de absorbţie într-o cantitate cuprinsă între 0,01 şi 1%.
