Disclosed is a cosmetic agent for temporarily shaping keratin fibres (e.g. hair), comprising at least one wax having a melting point above 37 °C (1 to 50 wt.% of the composition) at least one emulsifier (1 to 30 wt.%) at least one polyhydric alcohol ( 0.5 to 25 wt.%) hexetidine (0.01 to 0.4 wt.%) water (5 to 90 wt.%). Preferably, the composition further comprises at least one film-forming polymer in a total amount to 1 to 60 wt.%. Most preferably, the film-former comprises vinylpyrrolidone as a monomer or is a copolymer of octylacrylamide/acrylates/butylaminoethyl Methacrylate. Most preferably, the wax is a mixture of either beeswax and microcrystalline wax, or carnauba wax, petrolatum and microcrystalline wax. Preferably, the composition further comprises a nourishing component. Most preferably, the emulsifier is a non-ionic emulsifier. Preferably, the composition also comprises at least one nourishing component.
