An image capturing device is used to capture an image of an object and includes a camera, a first light source and a controller. The first light source is disposed adjacent to the camera. The controller is electrically connected to the camera and the first light source and is configured to control the camera to capture a first picture of the object under the condition that the first light source does not emit light, control the camera to captures a second picture of the object under the condition that the first light source emit light, subtract from the first picture to filter background brightness of the second picture to obtain a first filtered picture and analyze the first filtered image to obtain a probability of a state of the object.影像擷取裝置用以擷取待測物的影像且包括攝像器、第一光源及控制器。第一光源與攝像器相鄰配置。控制器電性連接於攝像器及第一光源且用以：在第一光源不發光下，控制攝像器擷取待測物之第一張圖片；在第一光源發出第一光線下，控制攝像器擷取待測物之第二張圖片；將第二張圖片減去第一張圖片，以濾除第二張圖片之背景亮度而獲得第一濾除圖片；以及，分析第一濾除圖片，以獲得待測物符合一狀態的機率值。
