The technical solution refers to medicine, namely to a surgical instrument intended for mechanical treatment of soft tissues and bone.The surgical spoon with an L-shaped bend contains a handle 1, the working part 2, the free end of the working part is made in the form of a bowl 3, the other end 4 of the working part is connected to the handle. The bowl is equipped with a closed circular cutting edge and is bent away from the longitudinal axis of the handle by an angle of 40 to 60 °. The working part is made from 170 to 300 mm in length, the bending radius of the working part is from 10 to 25 mm. The leading edge of the cutting edge in the lateral projection is offset from the longitudinal axis of the handle by a distance of 25 to 35 mm. The handle is made of polyamide, the length of the handle is from 120 to 200 mm. The working part is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel alloy, the hardness of the working part is in the range from 48 to 65 HRC, the diameter of the bowl is 10 mm, the depth is 5 mm, the handle is rounded and equipped with faces.The technical solution allows to expand the arsenal of technical means used by the surgeon. The technical result consists in providing access to the working end of the spoon (bowl) to the treated tissues in conditions of fixation of the operated limb in the external fixation apparatus and the ability to perform tissue treatment without dislocating the bone fragment from the operative incision and without performing additional incisions.
