The technical solution refers to medicine, namely to a surgical instrument intended for mechanical treatment of soft tissues and bone.A surgical spoon with a C-shaped bend contains a handle 1, a working part 2, a free end of the working part is made in the form of a bowl 3, the other end 4 of the working part is connected to a handle. The bowl is equipped with a closed circular cutting edge. The working part is made in length: from 170 to 300 mm. The working part is made with a smooth radius (C-shaped, sickle-shaped) bend 5, the bend radius of the working part is from 25 to 40 mm. The free end of the working part with the bowl is turned by a recess towards the handle. The bowl is made in the shape of a hemisphere. The front surface of the bowl is inclined to the longitudinal axis of the handle. The leading edge of the cutting edge is offset relative to the longitudinal axis of the handle. The length of the handle is from 120 to 200 mm.The technical solution allows to expand the arsenal of technical means used by the surgeon. The technical result consists in: providing access to the working end of the spoon (bowl) to the treated tissues in conditions of fixation of the operated limb in the external fixation apparatus and the ability to perform tissue treatment without dislocating the bone fragment from the operative incision and without performing additional incisions.
