A vapour provision apparatus comprising: a vapour generation chamber containing a vaporiser for generating vapour from a vapour precursor material and an air channel wall defining an air channel between the vapour generation chamber and a vapour outlet at a mouthpiece end of the vapour provision apparatus through which a user can inhale vapour during use wherein an inner surface of the air channel wall is provided with at least one protrusion extending into the air channel to modify (redirect) a flow of air in the air channel during use. For example, the at least one protrusion may be arranged to define one or more portions of a helical wall extending into the air channel so as to impart a degree of rotation about an axis of extent of the air channel to air flowing in the air channel during use.
