To provide an insect trap in which the flying insects comprising blood-sucking mosquitoes can efficiently be trapped by applying an ultraviolet ray to a photocatalyst and efficiently generating a carbon dioxide without lowering an insect trap function.SOLUTION: An insect trap 1 comprises a luring light source 2 for luring insects, insect trapping paper 3 for trapping the insects lured with the luring light source 2, and a box 4 for storing the luring light source 2 and the insect trapping paper 3.
