PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod which is made by firmly attaching a leg part of a fishing line guide.
SOLUTION: The fishing rod is made by attaching a fishing line guide 1 which has a leg part 5 comprising fiber-reinforced resin to a rod 40. In a top face 5a of the leg part 5 of the fishing line guide 1, reinforcement fiber of fiber-reinforced resin which constitutes the leg part 5 is exposed. The fishing line guide 1 is attached to the rod 40 by winding a strand 32 to circumference of the rod 40 so as to cover the top face 5a of the leg part 5 and applying adhesive 34 in a state where the leg part 5 is mounted on the rod 40. In the above state, the reinforcement fiber 20 exposed to the top face 5a of the leg part 5 of the fishing line guide 1 contacts the adhesive 34.
