PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope firmly fixing a light guide fiber to a distal end hard section and causing no deterioration in the intensity of a light.
SOLUTION: This endoscope 10 allows outgoing tip ends 20a and 30a of light guide fibers 20 and 30 inserted into an insertion section 12 to face the distal end hard section 13 of the insertion section distal end. In this endoscope 10, the light guide fibers 20 and 30 include caps 21 and 31 for covering the tip ends of the fibers, and covering tubes 22 and 32 for covering the rearward portions of the caps the distal end hard section 13 includes close-fitting holes 45 for closely fitting the caps 21 and 31, and a loose fitting hole 42a for loosely fitting the covering tubes 22 and 32 the close-fitting holes 45 and the caps 21 and 22 are stuck with adhesives 23 and 33 and the interval between the loose fitting hole 42a and the covering tubes 22 and 32 are filled with adhesive 70 for preventing the loose movement of the light guide fibers 20 and 30.
