The cat urine pH indicating material uses silica gel as a carrier, and comprises a pH mixed indicator accounting for 0.001—2% percent of the gross weight of the pH indicating material and a water soluble polymer accounting for 0.5—20% of the gross weight of the pH indicating material, and a rate in weight of methyl red to an indicator A that are comprised in the pH mixed indicator is 1:15-1:1. The health indicating cat litter is formed by a mixture of the pH indicating material and silica gel, and the pH indicating material accounts for 1-20% of the gross weight of the cat litter. Because consistency of a pH indicating material carrier and basic silica gel is ensured in the materials, the pH indicating material is uniformly distributed in cat litter products and can sensitively and stably indicate a pH value of cat urine.
