PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental probe which is suitable for check of plaque adherent to the surface of teeth.SOLUTION: The dental probe 1 has a pillar-shaped handle 2 and a measurement part 3 which is connected with the handle 2. The measurement part 3 has: a pillar-shaped probe needle 31 which extends in the direction intersecting the axis line direction X of the handle 2 and a pillar-shaped support 32 which continues from the probe needle 31 and extends in the direction intersecting the probe needle 31.
