PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively generate flavor with a small amount of aroma chemical by improving contact efficiency between the aroma chemical and humor, and simplify a manufacturing process.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes an absorber 6 formed by fibrillating a pulp master-roll sheet 4, and stacking the fibrillated pulverized-pulp 5, where an aroma chemical 3 is added to the pulp master-roll sheet 4 before the fibrillation. The manufacturing method of the absorbent article includes: a paper-making step of forming wet paper 2 from a raw material P, adding the aroma chemical 3 to the wet paper 2, and dehydrating and drying the wet paper 2 to provide the pulp master-roll sheet 4； and a working step of the absorbent article of fibrillating the pulp master-roll sheet 4, stacking the fibrillated pulverized-pulp 5, and manufacturing the absorber 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】香料と体液との接触効率を高め、少量の香料で効果的に香りを発生できるようにするとともに、製造工程を簡略化する。【解決手段】パルプ原反シート４を解繊し、解繊された粉砕パルプ５を積繊してなる吸収体６を備え、解繊前の前記パルプ原反シート４に香料３を添加する。製造方法としては、原料Ｐから湿紙２を形成し、前記湿紙２に香料３を添加した後、前記湿紙２の脱水及び乾燥を経てパルプ原反シート４を得る抄紙工程と、前記パルプ原反シート４を解繊し、この解繊した粉砕パルプ５を積繊して吸収体６を製造する吸収性物品の加工工程とを含む。【選択図】図１
